This "like new" Fortigate 60 been powered off and in it's box since I bought this new from eBay auction 5826386699 on Nov-28-05 08:46.

It was used for testing a Dual WAN setup between a Cox cable modem and a DSL. I had issues when Usenet news servers had to go out certain interfaces. Specifically, Cox news servers can only be accessed from a Cox IP address while the DSL news server allowed login/password from any IP address. For single WAN, it works as expected with no issues.

Once the test failed, this Fortigate-60 was packed up and has been sitting in it's box for years. I should have sold it back then, but I figured it could be useful as a backup firewall. Anyway, I'm selling it now.

I have performed a factory reset via 'execute factoryreset' from the serial console CLI. I also updated the firmware to V2.80 MR 12 Patch Release 1, the Attack Definitions, and the Virus Definitions.

The serial numbers all match: box, Fortigate-60, and Firwmare Status page.
